Title: Informatica Admin
Location: Bellevue, WA
12+ Months Contract
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for administering Informatica in all environments, including production.
• Implement migrations, upgrades, patches and service pack implementations in all environments
• Install, configure, and administer the Informatica platform for maximum utilization and throughput.
• Release Management & Deployments
• Support development teams with Best Practices & Dev. Reviews
• Assist in Performance Tuning of ETL Processes to provide optimal performance under ever-increasing data volumes on Informatica
• Support in administration, configuration management, monitoring, debugging, benchmarking and performance tuning of various Informatica platforms
• Implement Security Standards and roles
• Work with Infrastructure, and other teams to integrate and implement best practices
Qualifications:
§ Must have 5-7 years strong experience with Informatica v.9 toolset
§ Must have 5-7 years experience as Informatica Administrator
§ Strong hands-on knowledge of Informatica toolset especially PowerCenter
§ Deep technical understanding of Informatica architecture, administration, upgrade and install
§ Strong troubleshooting/performance tuning knowledge of Informatica workflow/mappings
§ Must have experience working with Informatica Support for Installing & Upgrading software and resolving Support Incidents
§ 7-10 years experience with Oracle (v.12c preferred)
§ 7-10 years experience with SQL
§ 7-10 years experience with Oracle PL/SQL
§ 5-7 years experience with Linux & Shell Scripts
§ 3-5 years experience with Enterprise-class Workload Automation tool. Cisco Tidal preferred.
§ 5-7 years experience with Big Data & Over Petabyte sized databases
§ Solid understanding of ETL & Data Warehousing methods and technologies
§ Experience with Agile development for Datawarehouse desired
§ Strong knowledge of Datawarehouse Methodologies, Processes, & Best Practices
§ Experience working with Offshore teams
§ Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
§ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
§ Must be self-motivated and able to work both independently and with others
§ Excellent interpersonal skills
§ Excellent Customer Service skills
§ ITIL Foundation certification desired
§ A college or university degree in computer science or related experience
§ Telecom experience preferred
