Our latest guest was Christine Resotko. Christine has been playing RPGs since 1990, ran Earthdawn for FASA at the 1994 GenCon, started the CADL Adventurers Club at her library branch in 2014, presented to the Michigan Library Association Annual Conference on Tabletop, Card, and TRPGs in Libraries, presented on RPGs in libraries at this year's GenCon, and writes the Confessions of an RPG Nerd blog posts for the American Library Association Game Roundtable. Our conversation was a great reminder of the CAR-GPA's roots, particularly in the library and education space, and how important it is to introduce tabletop games to those who may not otherwise be exposed to them. [CAR-PGa] You're Invited! CAR-PGA Virtual Session (November 2022)

Join us on Thursday, November 10 at 7 p.m. ET for a virtual learning session. Our guest is Dr. Allen White. Allen received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University under the direction of Igor Adamovich and J. William Rich of the Non-Equilibrium Thermodynamics Laboratories.  His research has involved infrared spectroscopy, mass-spectrometry, and plasmas.  He is an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Chemistry at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. Allen is working to make RPGs for engineering education using a proven teaching framework, called Fink's Taxonomy that can work for any education content. He recently presented an expansion of the Year Zero Engine from Gary Con at GameHole Con in October. We look forward to an engaging session!
