For once I basically agree with one of Paul's rants. However, that's
not the standard of acceptability in this forum; relevance is.
Hooper's _nonspecific_ comment about acceptance I didn't have a
problem with at the time because it was in the context of a discussion
of Scouting's acceptance of subcultures like ours and could be read as
being on-topic; Paul's comment is about a _specific_ range of
complaints _that do not include gaming_ and therefore is clearly off-
topic. Maybe I should have seen the warning signs in Hooper's comment
and said something earlier, but I try not to yell at people unless
there's a clear violation of the rules. If you want to discuss this
topic further, e-mail each other directly; do not drive away pro-RPG
people who also happen to be pro-BSA.
If one of the official moderators could edit the group description to
make these boundaries a little more clear, I would appreciate it.
