for a series of community-based expert Q&A sites. (As they put it,
"like experts-exchange except without the evil.") The site for RPGs is
currently in open beta, meaning it's a live site anyone can
participate in but the Stack Exchange overlords are still scrutinizing
the statistics to see if it's strong enough to survive.
Why am I telling you this? This is of interest to us not merely for
the usual what-an-unusual-experiment, is-this-advancing-the-state-of-
the-art? reasons, but because the "public-relations" tag is being used
to indicate questions that are very much relevant to our advocacy and
defense interests. Those interested in the social aspects of gaming,
from handling problem players to the uses and terms of explicit social
contracts, may find tags such as "social" and "social-contract"
interesting as well.
Obviously there are a lot of questions where people debate specific
rules interactions for specific games as well, of course, but that's
not terribly on-topic for us.
