[CAR-PGa] Re: founder of DragonCon in trouble again

So far I see two references to Ed Kramer in headlines as DragonCon's
founder, both in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. As far as I can
tell, one is simply the updated version of the other, since links to
the former now redirect to the latter.

The second paragraph--the first full paragraph after the lead-in
sentence--opens "Kramer, who has said he is no longer affiliated with
DragonCon, [. . ]". There's a few other references to his work with
conventions (e.g., a file photo captioned "Ed Kramer, posing for a
file photo as the organizer of the World Horror Convention in 1995"),
but they really just feel like the standard "who is this guy? / "why
is his important enough to merit an article?" background rather than
any attempt at drawing a connection. The article ends with statements
from DragonCon noting that he hasn't been involved since 2000 (i.e.,
since the original allegations surfaced).

The only other point of interest was a reference back to the original
charges 11 years ago: "Three teenage boys asserted that he sexually
abused them after dazzling them with action figures, sci-fi
memorabilia and celebrity connections." It doesn't mention any of the
other incidents from his past that Mike brings up at the Examiner, so
he actually comes out looking better in his local press than he does
in ours. (I'm not sure what to make of that, but I figure that the
truth can't hurt us.)

In summary, I'm sure that some people who already believe certain
stereotypes will find evidence for their hate in here, but that's
inevitable (not all gamers are saints) and it doesn't feel like the
paper is pushing that view.
