Job Title: Wintel
Location: Woodlawn, MD
Duration: 6+ Months contract

Wintel:
Must-haves:
Experience engineering and implementing complex Wintel server environments using HP and eGenera Blade technology
Must understand Microsoft Windows 2008 server environment and the security and risk implications of a Unified Communications platform.
Designing highly available solutions utilizing VMWare or Microsoft Clustering
Troubleshooting and engineering experience with Microsoft Active Directory
Strong working knowledge of Unified Communications concepts and designs
Experience with evaluating end user devices as well as back end systems focused on Unified Communications and mobility
Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Plusses:
Experience with 3-tier architecture
Experience with and understanding the capabilities of Microsoft Lync 2010 (previously called Microsoft Office Communicator)
Understanding of Voice over IP and telephony technologies
Advanced engineering and Microsoft development
Budgeting and labor estimation
Experience in working with Microsoft Consulting Services personnel.

Day-to-Day:
This candidate will be the Senior Engineer for the Wintel Unified Communications Team. They must have experience maintaining, engineering, and implementing Microsoft Lync 2010 (formerly called Microsoft Office Communicator). They will support the application and maintain user accounts. This person will act as a third level escalation point for problem resolution for the Lync platform, including creating, modifying, and disabling Lync user accounts.
