Job Title: .Net Developer
Location: Franklin, TN
Duration: 10 Months Contract
             Need Junior .Net Developer

Corporate Job Summary: To provide application development skills to achieve company goals for business information.

Essential Job Functions:
Applications development - designs, codes, tests, debugs, maintains and documents programs from detailed specifications relating to sales. Analyzes systems, programs, and processes and develops documents, diagrams and flowcharts. Revises and updates programs and reports as needed. Interfaces with users to troubleshoot software problems and provides solutions and technical advice for future planning.

Other Essential Functions:
Ability to develop specifications that can be used for program development
Ability to program applications efficiently according to specifications within business timelines
Communication skills: Verbal & Written (Customer service, documentation, end user training)
Issue Identification and Resolution skills
Exhibit positive and constructive attitude

Working Relationships:
Reports To: Sales Systems Analyst
Responsible For: Application support and development duties
Works Closely With: IS Staff Sales Directors, Managers and Support Staff

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Training & Development:
Strong customer service skills. Very strong .NET C# programming skills including ASP.NET and Windows Forms applications. Strong web application development skills including HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Ability to read and understand application code. Strong SQL Server skills including joins, views, triggers, stored procedures, optimization techniques, SSRS, and SSIS.

Work Environment and Time Requirements:
Climate-controlled office environment 8-hour workday Variations in work volume sometimes require extended working hours, approximately (but not limited to) 10-12 hours per week.

Entity Framework
AJAX Toolkit
Web services
MS Access development
Subversion

Preferred Educational and/or Work Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science preferred
3-7 years .NET Applications Development experience
