Job Title: Oracle ERP
Location: Buffalo, NY
Duration: 4+ Months Contract

 

DESCRIPTION
Performs Oracle ERP technical role specific to Oracle Supply Chain and HR modules. Possess strong technical knowledge of Oracle applications modules such as INV, BOM, OM, PO, AR and AP. Experience with HR would be a good to have. Previous experience of working with interfacing oracle ERP data to non-oracle systems. Basic functional knowledge of the above modules would be nice to have. Prior experience of having worked in the IT ERP group of a discrete manufacturing company is a huge plus. Performs duties in one or more of the business applications technology disciplines in ERP applications and ensures GB internal and external customer expectations are met or exceeded.

 

Given initial guidance, capable of building interfaces on master data and transactional data across different modules in Oracle.
Experience in sending the data outside/within the company network through FTP or other protocols
Adheres to internal IT procedures. A strong sense of teamwork is a must
Researches problem-solving tools and techniques and evaluates applicability to specific problems within assigned area.
Develops Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), tests and validates various system programs and/or software to support quality control practices

 

QUALIFICATIONS: (education & experience)
4-year degree in Information Systems or major in computer science
Should have worked with MFG modules in either technical or Techno functional role for at least 2 years
Would prefer a 5+ years of Oracle ERP experience with Manufacturing companies in North America
Should posses strong written/verbal communication skills in English

 

QUALIFICATIONS: (Technical skills)
PL/SQL, SQL*Plus, SQL*Loader, Interfaces
Strong understanding of the Oracle applications architecture and Table Structures
Good UNIX OS working knowledge including Shell scripts
Experience with file/data transfer protocols like FTP
