Job Title: Sr. Mobile Web Developer
Location: Dulles, VA
Duration: 6-9 Months Contract
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a Sr. Mobile Web Developer with server side skills to start immediately who is passionate about mobile web development; to include tablets and smartphones. The ideal candidate will lead a team and be instrumental in developing custom portals. He/she must be creative, with proven experience building successful and innovative mobile web products. We welcome candidates with new ideas and willing take risks to challenge traditional ways of thinking.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities/Duties:
Server side development
Experience with myriad web technologies and their interrelationships
Detailed knowledge of mobile browser idiosyncrasies
Disciplined approach to file structure and documentation
Solid style and visual design skills
A creative and positive attitude when working with others
Must be able to operate independently, but also accept guidance from peers and senior staff—must also be willing to mentor junior engineers
Skills Required:
Experience building mobile web experience using HTML/CSS & Javascript with HTML5 & CSS3
Strong server side knowledge and development skills that include Spring, Struts, Java/JSP/Servlet/JDBC, parsing XML/HTML , regular expression, Sybaseor MySQL
Directly work with customers in understanding requirements and communicating project status
Apache 2.X, Tomcat 5.5X, Java 1.5, JSP/Servlet, JDBC, XML, Spring3.x, Struts1.x, HTML, XHTML, HTML5, CSS2/3, Javascript, Sybase/MySQL, Apache Commons modules, Ant, Native application development (iOS and/or Android)
