Job Title: Hyperion Developer

Brief Description Of Assignment:
This position resides within the Business Processes' Record to Report application support area.
The Hyperion Planning Developer will be responsible for supporting and implementing changes to business rules, calc scripts, web forms, and reports utilizing Hyperion Planning, Financial Reporting, and Essbase versions 9.3 and 11.1.2. (Note: This is NOT a Hyperion Financial Management position.)
The individual will work with the Hyperion Lead to determine the Hyperion system requirements for maintenance, enhancements and new initiatives following client change control and standard operating policies. This person will have responsibility for developing and interpreting technical specifications used to support reports, business rules, and web forms. He/she must be able to create specifications, test plans, test scripts/cases and execute comprehensive testing.
The consultant will also trouble shoot technical issues and problems, monitor progress against plan, and communicate status to the Hyperion lead.
Years of Work Experience:
The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of proven experience with Hyperion Planning version 9.3 and 11.1.2 creating business rules, calc scripts, web forms and reports utilizing Financial Reporting.
(Note: Experience with Hyperion Financial Manager (HFM) or Hyperion Data Management (FDM) is not applicable.)
The candidate must show competence in the both the Personal and Technical skills (below) during an onsite interview.
(Note: USS will not pay for travel or related expenses.)
Personal Skills Required:
Verbal and written communication skills to work with R2R team and the Hyperion users to define requirements, manage expectations and analyze issues
Ability to ensure requirements for changes follow USS BSC standard operating procedures for change control
Technical Skills Required:
Hyperion Business Rules – must have strong experience writing business rules
Hyperion Planning & Essbase version 9.3.1 and 11.1.2
