Job Title: Database Analyst-PL/SQL Developer
Location: Roseland, NJ
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Keys: PL/SQL Developer that can review and tune complex quires. Re-write complex SQL. Oracle Materialized View-Required. Must be able to hit the ground running!
Database Analyst:
Reviews, evaluates, designs, implements and maintains company database[s]. Oracle SQL & PL/SQL work experience, Query fine tuning techniques, sound knowledge on Query Optimization, experience with Materialized Views - mandatory. 8-10 yrs experience.
Reviews, evaluates, designs, implements and maintains company database[s].
Identifies data sources, constructs data decomposition diagrams, provides data flow diagrams and documents the process.
Writes codes for database access, modifications, and constructions including stored procedures.
Reviews existing code/queries/materialized views and tunes them for optimal performance.
Extensive experience in rewriting very large and complex SQL is mandatory. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 8-10 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks.
May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
Required Skills:
Oracle PL/SQL work experience
Query Fine Tuning techniques
Sound knowledge on Query Optimization Hints
Experience with Materialized Views
Extensive experience in rewriting complex SQL
