Title: Junior Java Programmer
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Responsibilities:
Development and Maintenance of the spring batch framework
Troubleshoot and resolve java based applications issues. 
Develop reporting modules 
Ability to communicate any problems or issues, facilitate and track through support process; work with peers to assist with resolutions. 
Responsible to provide status to management as requested. 

Essential Skills Required:
Bachelor's Degree
0 to 2 Years Programming Experience in Core Java 
Experience with RDBMS [MySQL or Oracle] 
Basic skills to use Linux operating system and develop shell scripts 

Desired Skills Required:
Knowledge of system life cycle / application development alternatives 
Aptitude for complex problem analysis / resolution 
Excellent communication skills 
Detail-orientated and self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple tasks 
Very good organization and time management skills
