Title: .NET Developer

Location: Chaska, MN 

Duration: 6 Months Contract to Hire

The Senior Software Development Engineer participates in defining and implementing next generation laboratory software systems. The incumbent collects, interprets and documents system requirements; leads and/or participates in component, subsystem and system concept designs; develops and recommends methods, tools and designs for software development process improvements; and leads and/or participates on multi-functional product research and development teams. 

Analyze and develop system specifications per customer requirements 

Create detailed design models to support system specifications 

Implement source code per detailed designs. 

Design and develop components that support the company's goals of increasing user effectiveness, efficiency, and customer satisfaction 

Communicate and refine concepts through iterations of user workflows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes 

Design and execute unit test procedures and harnesses. 

Conduct and participate in design and code reviews 

Enter or update documentation into appropriate control system 

Troubleshoot and correct system anomalies. 

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product meet performance, scalability, and reliability goals Qualifications: 

Must possess a Bachelor´s degree in field with 5+ years of experience OR Master´s degree in field with 3+ years of experience 

OR Doctoral degree with 0 - 2 years of experience 

Experience with user interface design and development 

Familiarity with software lifecycle (requirements, design, code, test). 

Understanding of software development processes for a regulated environment (ISO9000/FDA). 

Ability to travel as needed (minimal). Preferences: 

Experience in Team Foundation Server (TFS)

Experience in Personal Software Process (PSP) and Team Software Process (TSP) 

Web development and Network Communication Design 

Experience in medical device design & development
