Job Title: QA Automation Tester
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Skills:
3-5 years Automation Testing experience
Good SQL skills
Minimum of 3 years experience with Oracle & Informix DBs
Minimum of 2 years data comparisons/database validation experience
Minimum of 2 years Java Development experience
Minimum of 2 years experience with Test Planning & Execution in an Agile environment
Experience with Business Integrations tools such as Informatica a plus
Experience with Pentaho Data Integration (Kettle) tool a plus
Responsibilities:
Develop test scripts using Kettle tool for Regression Testing & Data Comparisons
Define test data needs for a static data set to be used in Regression Testing based on comprehensive set of test scenarios
Maintain test scripts as needed
Execute Kettle scripts for Regression within Agile Iterations & Data Comparisons during Parallel Testing Phase
Report discrepancies in data and/or expected results to Development teams & participate in troubleshooting efforts as needed
Open defects as needed, get estimates for fixes from Development & manage defects to ensure retest can occur within QA cycle
Provide analyis of testing results to QA & Dev leadership teams
Utilize Java development skills to create functions as needed to enhance test scripts created in Kettle
Report regularly on planned to actual progress
Raise risks & issues to QA & Development teams in a timely manner
