Job Title: Oracle Application Developer
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Qualifications:
Education: BS Degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering or other relevant field or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Experience:
Five or more years experience in an Oracle Financial Applications e-Business Suite Release 11i/12 environment, particularly with GL, AP, AR, CE, PO, GA, LD, Internet Expenses/PCARD modules.
Understanding of Business Processes utilizing Oracle Application Flows across the E-Business suites to design solutions utilizing Oracle tools such as Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, BI Publisher, Oracle Workflow and OAF/ADF to configure and develop extensions, integrations and modification of seeded forms, reports, workflows and framework objects.
Demonstrated ability to program utilizing PL/SQL and Unix/Linux scripting.
Possesses a working knowledge of logical database design and performance tuning.
Able to prepare well written and useful technical design and testing documentation such as MD70's.
Knowledge and experience with Java, Open Interfaces and APIs and knowledge of various file transfer methods is a Plus.
Familiarity with data warehouse tools and concepts.
Two or more years working Experience on Enterprise Data warehouse systems.
Preferred Skills include experience in upgrading Oracle Financial Applications and experience in Self Service applications and Grants Management Module.
Skills: Experience in upgrading Oracle Financial Applications and experience in Self Service applications and Grants Management Module is preferable. Familiarity with data warehouse tools and concepts. Experience in preparation of MD70, MD80 documentation. Good understating of module functionality and able to develop testing plans.
