Location: Alpharetta, GA
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Description
The Senior Software Developer performs product design, bug verification, release testing, and beta support which may require research and analysis. May assist in performing on-site client work. May direct small teams. The Senior Software Developer operates under minimal supervision.
Essential Responsibilities / Duties:
Perform complex product design activities which may require extensive research and analysis
Perform design, implementation and maintenance of complex, multiple product modules / sub-systems
Actively participates in product design meetings
Perform complex bug verification, release testing and beta support for assigned products
Researches problems discovered by QA or product support and develops solutions to the problems
Conducts unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits
May assist in performing on-site client work on complex applications
Designs and implements software in order to meet project objectives
Researches and understands the requirements for a product, including target environment, performance criteria and competitive issues. Researches new technology or development tools to remain informed of current technology
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Software Engineering or Computer Science
6-9 years of technical experience in software product design and product support
Good technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design and implementation
3+ years of SQL database development experience
4+ years of .NET/C# experience
2+ years of client and server side web development using JavaScript, HTML,.NET
Exposure to object and processes modeling using UML or OOAD technique
Good analytical and design skills at multiple product level
Good skills in research and analysis, project planning and implementation
Good understanding of entire development process, indulging specification, documentation and quality assurance
Aware of business issues as they impact overall project plans
Good communication and interpersonal skills
