Need OBIEE Lead
Location: Torrance ,CA
Duration: Long Term
Resposibilities:
Candidate should have experience in BI Reporting including:
OBIEE 10g/OBIEE 11g (Primary)
Hyperion Interactive Reporting & Essbase (Secondary)
Activities include:
Participate in Requirements Gathering session and capture Reporting requirements – both Functional & Non-Functional
Provide Wire-frame and mock-ups for Reports
Identify best tool feature to address specific requirements
Ability to think on the feed and provide recommend high level solutions approach to the customer
Independently Design and provide detailed design document to Offshore team
Engage in Gate Reviews with Enterprise Architecture Team and provide the necessary documentations
Review during various stages of development life cycle • Integration and System testing
Ability to do performance tuning ( highly complex nature )
Participate in Implementation and Deployment activities
Able to plan and organize individual and team activities, prioritize and handle contingencies
Onsite-offshore co-ordination and communication
Daily/Weekly status reporting to the customer+
Technical skills required:
Strong Technical capabilities atleast one of the below Technologies
OBIEE. 10g/11g – MUST HAVE
Oracle PL/SQL – GOOD TO HAVE
HIR & Essbase – GOOD TO HAVE
Data Modeling. – GOOD TO HAVE
Informatica ETL – NICE TO HAVE
OBIEE/ BI Apps
RPD & Webcat Configuration
Designing Star Schemas, Building the business logic and delivering the presentation layer as per the requirements.
Strong Data base skills (Oracle / SQL server)
Strong SQL skills
Behavioral skills required:
Degree in Engineering or Master of Computer Applications with:
Minimum 8 to 11 years of IT consulting
Minimum 6+ Years of experience in working on OBIEE product stack with DW background.
Minimum 1.5 to 2 Years of experience in working on OBIEE 11g
Strong Communication and Client Interfacing skills
Strong Analytical abilities.
