We are going to have our first public discussion meeting discussing the
therapeutic and educational effects of role-playing games on participants. This
will be both in-person, and simulcast live over the Internet....
RPG Research First Public Meeting, Saturday August 3rd 1:00 pm (Pacific)
A little while ago I posted asking people if they would be interested in a
monthly meeting discussing the topics that RPG Research covers, namely the
educational and therapeutic effects of role-playing games upon participants.
I received responses on Facebook, Twitter, and elsewhere from people that
stated they would be interested, and would participate.
With this feedback, I am going to go ahead and begin a monthly discussion
group meeting, open to the public, starting in August, meeting both in-person,
and broadcast live over the Internet through Google+ Hangout so that people
from around the world can join in the conversation and share their information
and experiences on this diverse range of topics. This will also be simulcast
over the RPG Research Youtube channel.
If you have not already joined the RPG Research Google+ circle (
rpgresearching at gmail dot com ), or Google+ RPG Research Page, or subscribed
to the RPG Research Youtube Channel, or joined the email list ( list-
