Duration: 6-12 Months Contract
Overview:
The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for the establishment of a formal Quality Assurance and Release Management function within the University Relations
Information Technology (URIT) department. The role of the position is to develop and establish quality assurance standards and measures, define a release management
process, and make it happen.
Requirements & Qualifications:
7+ years direct experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of quality assurance standards for software testing and release management
processes for software deployment.
5+ years direct experience as a lead tester for major application integration and/or major application product release.
Strong knowledge of system testing best practices and methodologies.
Knowledge of concepts related to version control such as branching, tagging, building deployment modules, etc.
Extensive experience with core software applications (MVC architecture and related design patterns, Web 2.0 GUI, etc).
Direct hands-on experience with ad hoc query programs (PL/SQL Developer, TOAD, Crystal Reports, etc.), automated testing tools, and reporting software.
Familiarity with open source version control software such as Subversion/CVS, scripting language such as Maven/Ant, Java/J2EE deployment in Tomcat server, PL/SQL
code deployment in Oracle database, Crystal Report writer software is a plus.
