Position: Oracle Techno-Functional Consultant
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 6-12 Months Contract
Required:
• Software development experience with a background in Oracle applications (10g/11i/R12).
• Strong technical skills in the Oracle developer tool set (OAF, Forms, Reports, SQL, PL/SQL and Workflows).
• Expertise in the following Oracle R12 EBS modules : Advanced Pricing and Order Management.
• Previous experience with Oracle R12 implementations, within the OM/Pricing landscape
• Understanding of the Sales Order Entry Process, Order Management workflow and pricing integration.
• Good Understanding and inventory item definition specific to the Oracle PIM capabilities.
• Functional understanding of Advanced Pricing concepts, with efficient use of price lists/qualifiers/modifiers/pricing formulas/pricing, product, qualifier attribute sourcing/mapping.
• Expertise in Implementation, Development and Customization of R12 Advanced Pricing module with a strong focus on transformation based on 11i capabilities.
• Expertise with Form personalization, if required, in order to implement desired pricing functionality
• Extensive expertise with Oracle E-Business Suite Integrated SOA Gateway implementation and thorough understanding of Oracle's SOA Framework and Application Object Library.
• Understanding of Oracle Fusion Middleware, Web Services, Application Integration Protocols, Application Frameworks, Portal and Web Centre Suite.
• Understanding of Oracle Application Server, J-Developer, XML, BPEL, WSDL, SOAP , from a SOA integration perspective.
• Familiarity with EBS modules such as EAM, Financials, Purchasing/Sourcing, HCM.
• Functional knowledge of the Quote to order business process.
• Extensive expertise working with business events and event subscription.
• Experience with Price Book functionality implementation and related form personalization, if required
• Strong business and cross functional partnership with a proven track record of successfully driving initiatives, enhancements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within an environment of multiple cross functional teams, and deliver within aggressive timelines
Job Duties
• Implementation of the Oracle EBS R12 Advanced Pricing module.
• Collaborate with business analysts and technical leads to ensure successful integration of Oracle EBS R12 across multiple system platforms, using the Oracle E-Business Suite Integrated SOA Gateway
• Deliver an assessment on the OOB Price Book functionality and provide a recommendation based on the technical feasibility.
• Assume ownership on technical design and perform hands-on development tasks as required in support of the pricing transformation.
• Work with the technical team to deliver a scalable, optimized solution.
• Provide a technical recommendation based on the mandate to transform the existing pricing structure/capability to ensure scalability, operational efficiency and drive continuous process improvements subsequent to the implementation.
• Provide recommendation on the customization approach, as maybe applicable.
• Collaborate with the Business Users, IT Analysts and the offshore development teams to develop the proposed solution.
• Prepare the technical design documents and specification documents relative to the project scope.
