[CAR-PGa] Looking for old BADD-era press release

Hello,

I'm hoping that somebody here might be able to help me with this...  I'm currently writing a paper on the origins of the D&D moral panic (nothing too new or particularly deeply insightful, I fear; it's only a 100-level writing class), and have been struggling to locate a particular source I feel as if I need for one of the points I want to touch on in the paper.

There's a reference in Michael Stackpole's 'Pulling Report' to a press release delivered by the National Coalition on Television Violence on 17 January 1985 that seems to be where the references to Patricia Pulling's claims of a D&D curse being involved in her son's suicide come from. I can't seem to find anywhere online that isn't quoting Stackpole's report that shares this particular point, and my searches for the press release itself have come up empty, as I've managed to locate a portion of it from an old Usenet post but the part I located doesn't actually include the quote from Pulling.

Now, I'm more than willing to cite Stackpole's report in my paper (and in fact, already have).  Pulling is absolutely not coming out of this thing looking terribly nice.  However, citing a passage that is, itself, a citation seems like it would be poor form.  As such, it would probably be best to get at the press release itself, so that I have the full context of the statement (questionable as it may be).

Does anyone happen to have access to a copy of the original press release?

Thanks,

James Sinnett
