IT Infrastructure Project Management
LOCATION: RAMSEY, NJ
1 Year Contract
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead the entire lifecycle of small-large projects; includes project initiating, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling and closing.
• Manage multiple simultaneous projects
• Present to IT Management clear and attainable project objectives.
• Proven business acumen
• Maintains clear communications with sponsors, stakeholders & project team members
• Provide proactive leadership in all project related activities
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects; building project requirements, and manage project scope.
• Effectively apply methodology and enforces project standards.
• Manage resources effectively to maintain timelines needed to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Responsible for ensuring team members fulfill commitments and take corrective measures as appropriate; collaborate with other departments as necessary
• Escalate issues to management with alternate solutions
• Establish a strong working relationship with stakeholders to help expand opportunities, resolve issues, and ensure that the key issues of cost, time, quality and client satisfaction can be realized.
• Minimize exposure and risk on complex projects.
• Fulfill project administration tasks: Run meetings, document minutes/status reports timely, consistent communication, complete project documents & reviews.
Required:
• 5+ years in an IT Infrastructure Project Management/leadership role required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business Administration or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
• Demonstrated experience in leading teams toward project goals & managing full life cycle of projects
• Solid understanding of technical terminology and ability to translate business requirements to technical audiences
• Experience managing document management systems implementations and/or ECM/workflow solutions a plus
• Demonstrated excellence in designing and implementing structured project plans, project documents and project communications
• Vendor management experience
• Demonstrated ability to work closely with technical team and stakeholders, maintaining a strong relationship throughout the course of the project.
• Proven project organization skills & strong communication (verbal & written) skills a must..
• Proven ability to multitask and succeed in a challenging environment.
• Experience with companies of similar size desirable
• Strong working knowledge of budget management and analysis.
• PMP Certification preferred.
