Technical Architect (ITSM)
Location: Bellevue, WA
12+ Months Contract
RESPONSIBILITIES SUMMARY:
The candidate will be required to architect, design and implement enterprise tools/solutions for areas covering Monitoring, Automation, ITSM and service delivery. Ideal candidate will be a self-starter with demonstrated experience working in a team environment to define the technical architecture for ITSM tooling solutions. Candidates must have knowledge about Cloud service management tools platforms from various vendors like ServiceNow, HP, CA, BMC, Microsoft and Open Source.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Prior experience across all stages of the ITIL lifecycle
• 15+ years of experience in service design, service management role for large projects
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in working in a distributed team environment is a plus.
SOFT SKILLS
• Team building and communications skills
• Excellent proactive analytical and problem solving skills
• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and developing flexible solutions to meet evolving requirements.
• Experience working in projects using Agile methodology
TECHNICAL SKILLS (Desired/Required)
• Provide vision and ITSM expertise to a large team.
• Subject Matter Expert in Tools for Monitoring, Automation, DC tools and ITSM to perform L4 level design and architecting activities.
o ITSM Tools Knowledge: ServiceNow, BMC Remedy/HP Service Desk/Service Now/CMDB
• Expert at sketching out architectural design for tool implementation and documents for design activities.
• Extensive experience on end to end implementation and integration of tools.
• Expertise in working with cross-functional teams to gather quality information and make recommendations.
• Vast Experience in constructing High level design and Low level design of tools as per the requirement of the environment.
• Extensive knowledge in scripting and programming.
• Expertise in DC technology
• Efficient in providing support for Quality Engineering activities.
• Excellent communication and Technical writing skills
• Familiar with standard ITIL best practices.
• Certification on any Scripting Language like Perl, Shell etc.
• Hypervisor Knowledge – VMWare, Hyper V, Xen
• Monitoring Tools Knowledge: AppDynamics, Nagios, Splunk, Zenoss etc.
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision
