Job Description:
• Support Microsoft Surface team in the verification of software, firmware and drivers for video capture.
• Testing in support of verification includes driver stability, HLK, application compatibility and E2E scenario testing.
• The successful candidate will have good oral and written communication skills, be detail oriented following test procedures and reporting results and have experience with C/C++ and/or scripting.
• The candidate will apply their knowledge and experience to document reliable and repeatable test cases for bugs including capturing debug logs and first level root cause investigation.
Qualifications:
• 1-3 plus years software testing experience
• 1 year development using a Microsoft product.
• Solid knowledge of software quality assurance practices.
• Ability to read logical and physical data model diagrams.
• Ability to read and write C/C++ required.
• Knowledge of personal computer hardware related to video capture is preferred.
