[CAR-PGa] Re: D&D represents threat to prison security

My comment to Mike Stackpole and Mike's reply regarding game defense
are both visible on his website now. Here's the link for those who
have lost track: http://www.michaelastackpole.com/?p=2220 I'm going to
try to continue the conversation in a more conciliatory tone--I was
feeling rather frustrated when I wrote my original comment--and
suggest we try to work together better in the future.

On a side note, the Tucson - gaming connection he refers to appears to
be this article: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748703791904576075851892478080.html
It's mainly focused on what he wrote on an online game's forums and
how others read them at the time, but it does refer to his online
gaming experience as including "Starcraft and Diablo, which featured
complex virtual worlds where players assume roles and play against
other people around the globe" &c. It makes no attempt to portray the
games as anything other than a symptom of his social isolation, if
that, but that doesn't mean that later references back to the article
share the same view.
