address hacked (again). I've been getting spam straight to me for a
couple of days but didn't think to lock the account out of Google
Groups until the spambot noticed the list. Sorry about that.
The spam e-mail has been removed from the group archives.
I have taken these actions personally without waiting for consensus
among the available moderators on the grounds that this is (1) an
urgent situation—we don't want more spam or for the bot to figure out
how to read the membership list—and (2) one where there is a widely-
accepted protocol that can be implemented as routine business. Any
fault with the moderator response is strictly my own.
